VILLA BRUNILDE

PRIVATE HOUSE

Project for the internal renovation and enlargement of a private villa in Tuscany.
An important feature of this house is its total permeability with the surrounding garden, where they grow many species of trees, planted by the owners over the years.
Precisely the relationship with one of the trees, the magnolia, has been the guideline of the expansion project: the shape of a leaf becomes three-dimensional and lands next to the villa, in opposition to it for its soft lines and contemporary materials.
Unlike the enlargement, all the interventions made on the existing building were addressed to preserve and promote the history of the house.
